Teamsters Local 135 represents members in many types of industries and is one of the strongest Locals within the International Teamsters Union with approximately 13,000 members.

Teamsters Local 135 hosts a safety and training department that offers extensive training and defensive driving and unique aspects of professional driving.

There is also training in hazardous materials transportation and security, construction safety, hazardous communication and globally harmonized system, powered industrial truck (forklift) training, lockout/tagout, confined space, fire extinguisher uses and operation, commercial driver’s license standards, personal protective equipment, excavations and trenching, bloodborne pathogens standards, first aid and CPR.
